The Fisherman’s Cottage was painted on a bright sunny day in Prussia Cove, near Padstow, Cornwall. The old cottage is now in ruins but, it once stored fisherman’s tackle and nets. Who knows, it could have been used by the famous pirate, The King of Prussia who moored regularly in the cove to bring his illegal booty to shore?
The Schoolhouse at Black Bourton
was captured on a summer’s evening when the light was extraordinary. The schoolhouse is Victorian and is now a private residence.
Moreze was created on site at the famous catacombs. The Mediaeval church bell is used to call people to mass. It was a hot, unforgiving day but the light was perfect.
